Blog (2) Learning experiances

“The goal of education is the advancement of knowledge and the dissemination of truth.” (John F. Kennedy). Learning along with education is the foundation of leadership challenging the mind to find new horizons. When I think about learning, to me, it is a way to challenge the mind to reach new possibilities, becoming a key element of success. Everyday can be a learning experience for me, any problem approached is an opportunity to become one, solving a problem allows me to gain the knowledge on the situation and how to avoid it next time or solve it. Running into problems is my key learning technique, for instance Google Chromes new update took out the line of code to allow pop ups. Disallowing pop ups can cause problems for Microsoft Outlook users when attempting to attach a file, creating a problem when trying to send the last minute homework. If I had not ran into that problem I would not be aware of Chromes new update bugs, desperately trying to figure out what the cause is. Learning can be found in critical situations such as in an accident and in survival, challenging your mind to think outside the box in a life or death situation.

The world revolves around knowledge, if it wasn’t for Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Benjamin Franklin, etc we would not be where we are today. It was their curiosity that provoked their minds to think critically to learn and discover the fundamentals of why this happens. Questions are the primary reason of learning, becoming the base structure to why we have what we have today.

Writing this blog right now is a learning experience, making me think outside the box to add new ways to write critically and thoroughly. Gaining feedback from peers is a learning experience because I am informed of the flaws that are found in my writing, I then figure out ways to approach a different style to create a different feel making a noticeable change in my writing. If it isn’t for learning many discoveries would not have happened due to the lack of skills used to activate the mind into creating and thriving to find new things.
