Due to the fact that we live in the digital age, writing is almost all that this generation does. Whether it be texting, commenting, emailing, or even searching, we write a lot on a daily basis. For myself, I do a lot of texting, and because of it, I find that I am an excellent writer. I believe this to be true because I am usually texting my girlfriend; I find that I am constantly trying to make her smile -- even though I can't see it happening -- and because of this, my way with words, my writing skill, has become superb, at least in the art of persuasion. I know that I must be an excellent writer because it is harder to evoke emotion from someone when they have to read it instead of getting to hear it first hand with the emotion that you meant to say it with. You see, by successfully making my girlfriend happy, I know that the words I chose to make that happen were the right words.
On a completely unrelated note, I am gonna talk about the role writing has in my future. In my future, I see myself with some of job with my computer science degree. I'm not sure what I'll be doing specifically with that degree and knowledge yet, but I do see myself writing code. So you could say that I'll end up writing for a living. Also, I see myself writing in the future the way I do now. I will probably still be texting when I get older and a lot of the other stuff that has to do with writing that I do now.
So um here's a picture of digital stuff. It's in the form of words, which is writing:

I really like this new take you have on writing. The part about texting your girlfriend to make her happy is very sweet of you. From a girl's point of view, great job! Your relationship to writing is so relate-able, all of a sudden we realize that writing is actually an everyday thing and we had better know how to do it!
