My Relationship With Making

My writing has been my punching bag, my perfect boyfriend, my best friend I can tell all my secrets too, and the brother I never had.

Writing takes care of me. Whether I am retelling my dreams in my journal, writing an old love letter that I know I will never send, or even writing a school paper, writing to me has always been comforting and safe. Its a part of me that I let others see in a completely confident way.

My grammar obviously needs work, but my intent is always pure and my ideas at least to me, feel like they need to be heard.

I love the fact that writing can be different for everyone. Some people hate it, love it, cringe at the thought of it, but usually no one is just "Oh writing. Meh."  Everyone has some passion linked to it, and that fact in itself is beautiful.

I am the crazy diary girl, one with like ten billion diaries, journals, and other great stuff. They all live in my closet, under my bed, in my dresser, behind my books in my book case and inside other things like boxes or old makeup holders.

I believe writing can change the world. We as a whole can write to inform, to explain or to create something that nothing else can capture. My relationship with writing is just that. I write to change myself for the better.
