In my proposal, I have proposed to make either a piece of jewelry or an accessory for a decoration for my room. Because I really love a lot of the ideas that I found, I am still unsure of which one I would like to do. Each of the diy ideas that I found came from Pinterest, so they are each very detailed and cute. If I decide to make jewelry, I am planning on making stud earrings. I found a pin that shows how to make your own druzy earrings, and I like how nice they look, plus it looks like a relatively simple but fun project. For the home décor ideas, I found two projects that I really like. The first one is personalizing plain white coffee mugs with sharpies, and then baking them to make the color permanent. The mugs look very anthropologie-esque. The second diy home décor idea that I like is getting a plain canvas, gluing letters on it to make quotes or sayings, and then spray painting or painting it to make it a nice wall piece. I enjoy diy crafts and projects so much, that it truly is difficult for me to pick which one to make. Most likey, I think I will probably go with the canvas idea, but I am just not completely decided on that. However, the canvas idea seems like something I would like to do, because it would be fun to pick a quote or saying that I love, and create something I enjoy out of it. I also happen to love painting, so the canvas idea would probably be best. Overall, I am really excited to make my diy project, whether it be the canvas or not.
