In short terms, my manifesto is to do well in college. Since
I have started here, I am not going to lie; I have been scared out of my mind and
have been stressed. I have never really been someone who is good at writing essays
or good at taking standardized test (well any important test in the first
place). Plus making projects takes time and I am someone who is a big
procrastinator.
Here at Regis I have been challenged to each of these three
things that I hope to improve on. So far I have turned in two essays, have
taken two exams, and have worked on a group project. I am working on another
two projects that I’m still kind of having trouble doing. I have gotten a C on one
exam and one essay. But overall in both of those classes I am doing well. I
have gotten advice and feedback from those professors so that I do better next
time. I am excited to improve on my test taking skills and my writing skills.
I am more excited to
learn to write better papers. This is because I know papers are quite important
in the college life. Plus I feel like it will help my overall writing skills. Which
I feel would help me get through college. Plus it will help me later in life.
You can do it! I have every every faith in you! College takes hard work, and how you plan to tackle it is huge. This is a great start!
