My experience starting at Regis with the idea of my
manifesto is a sort of connection at the start. My manifesto talks about being
at the assistance of people and doing the best that I can to help people who
need it. No matter what the situation is I like to do what I can to make people
happy. I do not like when people complain or when they have something negative
to say about something. Therefore I try to make people happy with whatever
their concern is about. This does not mean that I let people walk all over me
and demand me around when they do not like something. I simply try to make
their situation better and if they do not like it after my attempts then it is
now their own problem to fix. My reasons for coming to Regis were because of
its small community, the distance from my house and most importantly the
nursing program they have here. In my manifesto I talked about becoming a nurse
and that I have done certain steps like becoming a CNA right when I turned
sixteen. I was old enough to get my CNA license and that is exactly what I did.
When I was taking my class a lot of people said that they were taking the class
to get some sort of credit for their nursing program. That made me think that I
was one step ahead of others. I’ve heard the nursing program here is phenomenal
and not only have I heard it but I have also has personal experiences where the
medical people I have come in contact with come from this school and I have had
a great experience with every single one of them. Not many people can say that
about their doctors, nurses, and physical therapy. This straight connection
makes my experiences contribute more into my manifesto.
